Banana Split
Crumbled brownies, diced bananas, hot fudge, rainbow sprinkles, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a cherry on top
Lemon Meringue Pie
Cherry Cheesecake
Crushed graham crackers, sweetened cream cheese (see below) and cherry gelatin
To make the sweetened cream cheese: Mix 4 ounces whipped cream cheese with 2 tablespoons sour cream, 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Key Lime Pie
Key lime pudding (see below), crushed chocolate wafers and whipped cream
To make the Key lime pudding: Mix 1/3 cup vanilla pudding with 2 tablespoons Key lime juice.
Apple Pie
Sauteed apples (see below), crushed cinnamon cereal and vanilla ice cream
To make the sauteed apples: Cook 1 diced apple with 2 tablespoons each butter and sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
Strawberry Shortcake
Crumbled biscuits, macerated strawberries (see below) and whipped cream
To make the macerated strawberries: Toss 1/2 cup diced strawberries with 1 tablespoon each sugar and lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Peanut Butter Cup
Peanut cream (see below), crumbled chocolate cake and chopped peanuts
To make the peanut cream: Whip 1/4 cup heavy cream with 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter.
Carrot Cake
Crumbled oatmeal cookies, sweet carrots (see below), cream cheese frosting and coconut topping (shredded coconut, chopped pecans and dried pineapple)
To make the sweet carrots: Toss shredded carrots with lemon juice, a little pumpkin pie spice and confectioners' sugar.
Blueberry Crumble
Lemon-Poppy Seed Cake
Crumbled pound cake, lemon-poppy seed sour cream (see below) and lemon zest
To make the lemon-poppy seed sour cream: Beat 1/2 cup sour cream with 2 tablespoons each lemon juice and confectioners' sugar, 1 tablespoon poppy seeds and 1 teaspoon lemon zest.
