Happy Holiday Getaways

Ready for a holiday getaway, host Jesse Palmer escapes the cold weather by challenging the bakers to create desert-inspired succulent tarts. The two least successful bakers ski into a cookie cake showdown that will keep one competitor on track for the final bake. In the Main Heat, the remaining bakers use cake to highlight some of the most popular holiday vacation spots before judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall award the best cake maker with $25,000 and the championship title!

Pies and Shine

Host Jesse Palmer challenges the nine remaining bakers to make seasonal holiday pies with no repeated flavors among their own team. In a surprise bit of strategy, each team must select only their best two pies for tasting by judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller, and Kardea Brown. To make the decision, the bakers taste their team's pies on their own. Feathers might get a little ruffled, but it's for the team! In the end, a baker from the losing team is eliminated.

Amazing Animals: Doggone Good

Dog Man is half police officer and half dog, and the animated movie "Dog Man" is all about him. So, for this challenge, hosts and judges Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown pair up the 10 bakers to create two-tiered Dog Man cakes! One team member creates a dog head for the top tier, and their teammate makes the human bottom tier of the cake. For a twist, the bakers must incorporate an ingredient that all dogs (and humans) love -- bacon!

Celebrating the Season

One of the biggest decisions families make every year is which photo they are going to use for their Christmas card! Host Duff Goldman challenges the bakers to help their Scout Elves take an "elfie selfie" by creating an edible diorama with the perfect backdrop for their photos. Then in the Santa Showdown, two teams design an edible holiday outfit which needs to be runway ready for judges Kardea Brown and Ashley Holt's elf fashion show. In the end, one team goes home.
