Guy Fieri and his son Hunter turn the tables on three GGG judges, making them compete in grocery games in their own kitchens. They send each judge-turned-competitor a GGG Delivery box full of ingredients for a lumberjack breakfast, plus a grocery list of extra items they must shop for in their own cupboards. When Guy demands that they turn the meager strawberry shortcake ingredients he has supplied into an elegant entree, they're forced to raid their pantries once again. The competitor with the highest combined score after two rounds gets a shot at winning up to $20,000.

The competition is down to the final four, and it's time to see if the finalists can handle the rigors of live television. Each finalist must make a "share-worthy" dish live on Food Network's Facebook page, and their demo is put to the test when special guest Anne Burrell is revealed as the on-camera talent. The finalists have to act as producers, guiding Anne through the demo using a wireless earpiece. The pressure continues to escalate when each finalist hosts their own live "in the kitchen" show with a special guest who's familiar with the format ... Food Network's Ree Drummond! Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay decide which finalists best handle these pressure-packed challenges and earn a spot in the final three.
Stress levels skyrocket as the remaining chefs face the test of seduction. In the Secret Ingredient Challenge, the competitors find themselves at the bar inside Jean-Georges Steakhouse at the Aria Hotel, where they have 30 minutes to create a cocktail and snack using liquor that seduces the judges' taste buds, including guest judge and renowned mixologist Charlotte Voisey. Next, the chefs meet host Alton Brown in a posh Sky Villa on Aria Hotel's 59th floor for the Chairman's Challenge. They have only 90 minutes to create an elaborate three-dish meal using luxurious ingredients gathered from restaurants in the hotel. Two chefs leave in an intense double elimination, and the last two standing prepare for the final battle in Kitchen Stadium.
The four remaining chefs return to the summer house, and Eddie Jackson sets up the theme: summer vacation! For the first challenge, the chefs have 30 minutes to take one tropical fruit and serve it two ways, but no two chefs can use the same fruit. The winning chef gains access to the special ingredient cooler in the second heat, where they'll have 60 minutes to prepare an entire summer dinner with a popular travel destination theme. One chef's summer vacation ends, and the last three chefs move on to the finale and a chance to win $25,000.
