There’s not much better than a cheeseburger when the melty-meaty mood hits — except a cheeseburger at a steeply discounted price. Or, better still, a double cheeseburger at a steeply discounted price.
McDonald’s is bringing that last, best option to you to help you celebrate National Cheeseburger Day, which falls on Thursday, September 18 this year.
What is McDonald’s offering?
McDonald’s is bringing back what it says is one of its “most popular offers of the year.” You can get a $0.50 Double Cheeseburger (yes, 50 cents!) when you place an order via the McDonald’s app.
How can you snag the deal?
The offer is valid only once per customer, only at participating McDonald’s and only on September 18, 2025. You also have to register (or already be registered) on the app in order to redeem the offer.
Is McDonald’s running any other special deals right now?
In fact, they are. McDonald’s says you can keep saving on meals after National Cheeseburger Day with its Extra Value Meals, “which include even deeper discounts on two of our most popular meals — the $5 Sausage McMuffin with Egg and $8 Big Mac meals — for a limited time.”
