Oreo Fans Have a Lot To Look Forward to This Season
The cookie brand is launching nine new items over the next few weeks.

The Oreo cookie is a classic for a reason, it’s hard to beat the combination of chocolate wafers and sweet creme filling. But Oreo hasn’t sat still hoping to only please fans of its original offering. The brand has launched dozens of permanent and limited-edition flavors, plus non-cookie products with an Oreo twist (Oreo O’s, anyone?). And today, Oreo announced a massive drop of nine new and returning products coming this month and into 2026. Here are all the new treats Oreo fans have to look forward to and when they’re launching:
What new and returning Oreo products are coming in December 2025?
Oreo Cookies:
Oreo Thins Chocolate Ganache will give chocolate lovers and fans of these crispier cookies a new, permanent option “filled with smooth rich chocolate ganache-flavored creme.” They are set to arrive in stores December 15.
Oreo Minis Chocolate Creme are bite-sized treats also hitting shelves this week, and contain “rich chocolate-flavored creme sandwiched between two chocolate cookies.” They’ll be available as a permanent item in 3-ounce and 8-ounce bags.
Oreo Cookie Dough, what you might call the Inception of Oreos, will return for the first time since 2014 as a limited-edition item beginning on December 22. The cookie-within-a-cookie features “cookie dough-flavored creme with choco chip inclusions sandwiched between two choco chip cookies.”
New Oreo Treats:
Oreo Muffins are pairs of chocolate muffins that the brand describes as “made with cocoa and baked with the flavors of Oreo.” They’ll hit baked goods aisles and convenience stores throughout December.
Oreo Cakesters Confetti Cake will also arrive this month and offer fans of funfetti cakes a portable, snack-sized version of their favorite treat with “birthday cake–flavored creme sandwiched between two soft, confetti cakes.”
What new and returning Oreo products are coming in January 2026?
Oreo Reese’s Cookies, the cookie half of a two-way collaboration with Reese’s, are coming back to shelves nationwide as a permanent item on January 5. (Reese’s Cups with Oreo cookies inside were launched as a permanent item in August 2025.) The cookie features “signature Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies filled with Reese’s peanut buttery creme with Oreo cookie crumbs.”
New Oreo Package Sizes:
As of January 5, Oreo Minis Peanut Butter will be available in a larger 8-ounce bag (they’re currently only sold in 3-ounce packs) and Golden Oreo Minis will come in a new 8-ounce bag as well as a 3.5-ounce Go Cup! option.
Perhaps the most impressive part of this year-end Oreo news is that, if we know anything about these creative cookie makers, they’re just getting started for 2026.
