Selena Gomez Is Introducing a New Ice Cream Flavor
The pretty Serendipity pint is being released in honor of her new song with Blackpink.

Summertime is all about ice cream — and for Selena Gomez, that goes double. Following a recent announcement that her new collaboration with K-Pop girl group Blackpink will be titled “Ice Cream,” the pop star is launching an actual ice cream to mark the song’s release on Friday, August 28.
The introduction of the new ice cream flavor — Cookies & Cream Remix — also coincides with Gomez’s move to take an ownership stake in the company releasing it: Serendipity Brands, a line of ice cream flavors inspired by the popular, similarly named restaurant on the East Side of Manhattan that is especially beloved for its frozen hot chocolate.
The new flavor will also be available starting August 28, retailing for $5.99 online and at supermarkets, convenience stores and other outlets nationwide.

“I grew up going to the iconic @serendipity3nyc restaurant so I couldn’t be more excited to join the ownership team,” Gomez wrote on Instagram. “In honor of the release of ICE CREAM with @blackpinkofficial , I created Cookies and Cream Remix… made with pink vanilla ice cream as a nod to the girls!”
In an accompanying, cross-posted video, the singer/actress can be seen, as she gets her hair done, digging into the new ice cream, which features a cartoon version of her on the bubblegum-pink carton.
“It has pink vanilla ice cream with thick fudge swirl and [broken] cream-filled cookie pieces,” Gomez says, reading from the container. “So basically it’s heaven and every bite is delicious.”
