It’s a good time to be a candy lover. As customers crave playful textures and bold flavor combinations, brands are innovating to meet demand — and we’re eating it up. Iconic treats like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are coming out in new shapes and sizes. There are novel textures to try, like squishy peelable gummies and crunchy freeze-dried nuggets. And, for the sweet-and-spicy fans out there, Skittles is turning up the heat.

Last year, the brand launched Skittles Fuego, a spicy version of its classic candy. Now, it’s doing the same for gummies. Each 5.8-ounce pack of Skittles Gummies Fuego includes five sweet flavors — Mango, Watermelon, Strawberry, Raspberry and Lemon — coated in chili. How hot are they? The packs show two flames on a “Spice Meter” of three, but if they’re anything like the originals, then you should expect a real kick.

“At Mars, we’re always paying attention to emerging trends and looking for exciting new ways for our fans to experience SKITTLES,” Ro Cheng, Vice President of Marketing for Mars Wrigley North America, says in a press release. “With SKITTLES Gummies Fuego, we’re adding some spice to a sweet, original fan favorite, bringing a bold flavor experience that we know ‘swicy’ fans will enjoy.”

You can buy the gummies now through Skittles’ TikTok Shop, while supplies last. Then, they’ll be sold at select retailers in the fall and roll out nationwide in January.
