Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap Supreme doesn’t look a day older than, well, whatever day you order it. And yet 2025 marks the beloved menu item’s 20th anniversary.

For two decades, customers have been devouring the fan favorite’s stacked layers of “crunch, cheese and bold flavors” (seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and a crunchy, chewy tostada) all wrapped up into a “portable package” that’s easy to eat while being held in one hand. In that time, since the Crunchwrap Supreme’s introduction in 2005, we’ve seen vegan versions and breakfast versions, spicy versions and more. Some have come and stayed; some have come and gone.

Now, Taco Bell is celebrating the Crunchwrap Supreme’s milestone birthday by introducing an innovative new take on the Crunchwrap concept. Today, the chain is launching a “snackable, dippable evolution of the original” Crunchwrap: brand-new Steak & Queso Crunchwrap Sliders.

The sliders are little “fun-sized” versions on the classic Crunchwrap, and they’re seriously pretty cute. They come two per order and feature grilled marinated steak, chipotle sauce, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese and a miniature tostada, all folded into a warm flour tortilla.

To keep things spicy, the Steak & Queso Crunchwrap Sliders come with a new Green Chile Queso, a cheesy dip that is “infused with real green chiles.”

According to one Redditor who got an early taste during the testing phase, the sliders are “really good.” “They stay together much better than a full sized Crunchwrap and don’t get soggy,” that person wrote.

Steak & Queso Crunchwrap Sliders are now available at Taco Bell locations nationwide for a limited time while supplies last.
