Trader Joe’s tote bags always make a big splash. Doesn’t matter if they’re mini-totes in primary-plus colors, pastel-hue mini-totes or mini-totes tricked-out for Halloween, people go wild for them.
The insulated totes, too, are known to spark buying frenzies, with social-media-fueled lines around the block and limits placed on the number fans can purchase. These bags have subsequently sold well over 10 times more than their in-store price on the secondary market. It’s kind of insane.

Measuring 10 inches by 6 inches by 6 inches with a 1.5-gallon capacity, the insulated bags feature zipper tops and two reinforced handles for ease of carrying.
They come in six different vibrant colors and patterns: two with stripes (blue and green, pink and red) and four with iconic Trader Joe’s imagery in bright green, orange, blue or purple.
You could definitely carry them for a beach outing, picnic or to carry home your refrigerated or frozen groceries on a hot summer day.
“Many of our customers have also found that they make quite a statement when used to carry your lunch along to school or work, too,” the brand tells Food Network via email.

The new totes will be available at Trader Joe’s stores nationwide on Wednesday, May 20. Priced at $3.99 each, they are, the chain says, “a great value.”
