Hefty Is Dropping Watermelon-Scented, Hot Pink Trash Bags

There are lots of ways to express your own personal taste and style: your clothes, your hair, your home decor. These days, you can even do it with your trash bags.
Students of trash bag innovation may recall that it has been a few years since Hefty introduced its Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice-scented trash bags. Initially offered as a limited-edition trash can option in 2022, those came and went, and came and went, and are currently available on Amazon.
Now the brand is debuting a new line of “fresh and fruity”-scented trash bags: New Hefty Ultra Strong Trash Bags with Fabuloso Watermelon Scent are here to make your garbage smell sweet.
And bonus: The trash bags come in a brand-new bright hue — hot pink — in addition to the traditional white. The “fun” and “vibrant” color “brings a lively and playful vibe to your kitchen, making even the mundane task of taking out the trash more enjoyable,” according to the brand. Talk about fabuloso.
The bags come in several sizes suitable for a variety of uses, all featuring “break-resistant drawstrings” and offering “trusted strength, effective odor control technology and six-in-one protection.”
The lineup includes Hefty Ultra Strong Tall Kitchen Trash Bags (13 Gallon, MSRP: $9.49), in both white and pink “to add a splash of color to your kitchen”; Hefty Ultra Strong Large Trash Bags (30 Gallon, MSRP: $9.49), for heavy-duty tasks requiring serious strength and flexibility; Hefty Medium Trash Bags (8 Gallon, MSRP: $4.99), suitable for bathroom, bedroom and office use and described as “tough on trash, easy on the nose”; and diminutive Hefty Small Trash Bags (4 Gallon, MSRP: $4.99).
