The product that, when it was first introduced in 2022, proved the mania for pumpkin spice had left no area of our lives — including our trashcans — untouched is back. Hefty is set to reintroduce its limited-edition Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice Ultra Strong Trash Bags.
But take note: You’d better move fast if you want them. Last time the virally popular 13-gallon kitchen trash bags were offered, they sold out in 90 seconds.
“Now, fall lovers can keep their pumpkin spice obsession going strong by giving their garbage the cozy fall upgrade they never knew they needed,” Hefty says, adding that the bags are being reintroduced in response to “popular demand.”
The pumpkin-spice-scented, odor-control trash bags promise to be as functional as they are aromatic, combining Hefty’s “trusted 6-in-1 protection with the cozy scent of cinnamon and pumpkin spice,” according to the brand. Features include “flex strength, tough drawstring, patented odor control, [and] resistance to leaks, punctures and rips.”
Hefty Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice Ultra Strong Trash Bags are now available for a limited time at select Walmart stores and on Amazon, where 20-bag boxes of them are currently listed as in stock for next-day delivery and are priced at $5.99 each.
And if you miss your chance to get your hands on these pumpkin-spice-scented trash bags in the usual way, don’t despair too much. You’ll probably still be able to find them, though perhaps at a significantly higher price, on eBay.
