Ree made these pretzels to send in a care package to her son, Todd, who was away at college. His football team is called the Coyotes and their colors are red and white, hence, her choice of red and white chocolate. You can adapt this for whatever your colors are.

Ree came up with this recipe as the centerpiece for a taco bar when she was holding a dinner party. Served with a range of fixins such as Cotija, cilantro, pico de gallo, pickled red onions and guacamole, it’s an impressive, colorful feast.

This beautiful juicy roast with its spicy, sticky sweet glaze is perfect for entertaining. The glaze would also work cooked on the stovetop until thickened, then spooned over pork chops or grilled chicken.

Ree has lots of herbs in her kitchen garden, and they thrive during the summer months. One of the ways she likes to use them is in herb flavored butters, which are perfect to serve on steaks or baked potatoes or simply spread on a slice of bread.

Some of Ree’s favorite recipes are made using a sheet pan. Often, she opens her fridge and creates something from whatever she finds inside, all cooked together on a sheet pan. She likes to serve this chicken in lettuce cups.

This recipe is based on the boxed mac ‘n’ cheese Ree loved as a child, something she would prepare herself. One day, she added spaghetti to the sauce instead of macaroni, and loved it so much that she never looked back. This homemade version also has a crispy panko breadcrumb topping, for an extra layer of deliciousness.
