McDonald’s Is Testing a New Vegan Burger and We Bet You Know What It's Called
The McVegan. (Of course, the McVegan.) But it’s only being tested in Finland.

Those of you who eschew animal products, take note: McDonald’s is now testing a vegan hamburger. Guess what it’s called. Yes, the McVegan. (Of course.)
And what is the McVegan exactly? Why, it’s a soy-based veggie burger served with fresh tomato, lettuce, pickles and a special “McFeast” sauce. And it’s supposed to be pretty good.
Great news for all you Mickey-D-loving non-meat-eaters (if that’s even a possible thing). Except maybe not that great because the McVegan is available only in one place and, if you’re dwelling stateside, that place is far, far away: Tampere, Finland. It’s also being sold only until November 21, so if you’re planning to make a special trip to try it, you better move quickly.
Then again, you could just wait around for the Golden Arches powers-that-be to decide to bring it to America. The company currently has no plans to make the McVegan available in U.S., a representative recently told Today.com. But that’s not stopping people on Twitter from begging for the company to do so.
“Hey @McDonalds please bring the #McVegan to USA where 20M vegans live! And PLEASE make your french fries vegan!” tweeted race car driver, environmental activist and prominent vegan Leilani Munter.
