Boxes of a Popular Mac and Cheese Brand Are Being Recalled Nationwide – Here’s How To Check If Yours Are Safe

Macaroni and cheese is in the pantheon of most comforting comfort foods, but one popular brand is sharing some discomfiting news about two of its boxed mac-and-cheese products.
Which Goodles products are being recalled?
Gooder Foods announced on September 10 that it is recalling five lots of Goodles Vegan Is Believin’ – Plant Based White Cheddar with Spirals and three lots of Here Comes Truffle – Creamy Truffle Flavored Cheddar and Shells.
Why are the products being recalled?
Each of the two recalled products may contain an allergen not listed on the product labels. Goodles Vegan Is Believin’ – Plant Based White Cheddar with Spirals may contain milk. Here Comes Truffle – Creamy Truffle Flavored Cheddar and Shells may contain cashew nuts. These undeclared allergens may cause serious or life-endangering reactions in those who are allergic or extremely sensitive to them.

Which boxes of Goodles’ Vegan Is Believin’ have been recalled?
The recalled products were produced from April 7 through April 15, 2025, and sold in 5.25-ounce packages. The packages feature the UPC number 850031990074 under the bar code on the bottom of the box and the lot code numbers 09725N, 09825N, 09925N, 10025N and 10125N and best-buy dates Jul-7-2026, Jul-8-2026, Jul-9-2026, Jul-10-2026 and Jul-11-2026 on the top of the box.

Which boxes of Goodles’ Here Comes Truffle have been recalled?
Also produced between April 7 and April 15, 2025, these recalled products were sold in 6-ounce packages. The packages feature the UPC number 850031990159 under the bar code on the bottom of the box and the lot code numbers 10125 N, 10425 N and 10525 N and best-buy dates Jul-11-2026, Jul-14-2026 and Jul-15-2026 on the top of the box.
The recalled Goodles were distributed across the country to wholesale distributors and online retailers between April 29 and August 5, 2025. Goodles are carried by major retailers including Walmart, Target, Stop & Shop, Kroger, Whole Foods and Amazon, but the announcement doesn’t specify which retailers may have sold the recalled products.
Has anyone gotten sick after eating the recalled products?
Unfortunately, yes. The allergen issue was discovered after customers alerted the company to it. “There have been six reported allergic reactions in connection with Here Comes Truffle and two reported allergic reactions in connection with Vegan is Believin’,” the company says.
What should you do if you have a recalled product?
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is urging consumers not to eat the recalled Goodles products and to instead return them to the place they bought them for a full refund. If you do eat it and you have an allergic reaction, you are advised to contact your healthcare provider.
