Cheesy Dipping Burritos Are Returning To Taco Bell — With a Twist Inspired by Fans
Steak Garlic Nacho Fries are coming back, too.

Taco Bell fans may want to add breath mints to their holiday wish lists. Citing “popular demand,” the fast-food chain is bringing back Cheesy Dipping Burritos. The diminutive, dip-able burritos come with a choice of three sauces. And this time, Taco Bell is adding a sauce option to the lineup that it says was inspired by fans: Creamy Garlic Sauce.
Returning alongside Cheesy Dipping Burritos will be Steak Garlic Nacho Fries, also featuring the Creamy Garlic Sauce. Both menu items will be available at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide starting December 18 — but only for a limited time. Garlic lovers, here’s what you need to know.
What are Taco Bell’s Cheesy Dipping Burritos?
First introduced as a limited-time menu item in January 2025, Cheesy Dipping Burritos are “snack-sized burritos” that are “warm,” “cheesy” and “dip-worthy.” They come with two per order, with your choice of either grilled, marinated steak or slow-roasted chicken inside. You can also select one of three sauces in which to dunk them: Creamy Chipotle Sauce, Nacho Cheese Sauce or, this time around, Creamy Garlic Sauce.
Taco Bell says the Cheesy Dipping Burritos offer the “ultimate dipping experience.” They definitely got some fans earlier this year.
“I’m ashamed of how much I love the dipping burritos,” one Redditor wrote in February.
“MEEEE TOOOOO!!! They’re so good,” another responded.
What are Taco Bell’s Steak Garlic Nacho Fries?
Another limited-edition fan favorite last seen in January 2025, Steak Garlic Nacho Fries take Taco Bell’s seasoned nacho fries and top them with marinated grilled steak, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce, and — yes — Creamy Garlic Sauce. Taco Bell says they provide “savory flavor in every bite.”

What’s the story behind Creamy Garlic Sauce?
When, earlier this year, Taco Bell fans turned the sauce that accompanied Steak Garlic Nacho Fries into a dunk and drizzle for just about everything, the chain took note — and built this new lineup around it.
“The community showed us how powerful a simple drizzle of Creamy Garlic Sauce could be,” says Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global chief food innovation officer in a statement. ”What started as a fan hack quickly became a shared passion, and we made sure to listen.”
The reintroduction of Cheesy Dipping Burritos and Steak Garlic Nacho Fries “celebrates the role our fans played in this menu innovation and delivers the bold flavors garlic lovers have been craving,” Matthews adds.
How can you get your hands on Taco Bell’s Cheesy Dipping Burritos and Steak Garlic Nacho Fries?
Starting December 18, Cheesy Dipping Burritos and Steak Garlic Nacho Fries will return to participating Taco Bell locations nationwide for a limited time, priced at $5.49 and $4.99, respectively.
The snackable burritos can also be ordered as part of a $9 Discovery Luxe Box, which features a pair of slow-roasted chicken Cheesy Dipping Burritos, a Chalupa Supreme, Cinnamon Twists and a Medium Fountain Drink.
