Chelsey White

I was born and raised in Seattle, and studied accounting at the University of Washington. I started baking a few years ago when I moved to New York City, in a kitchen the size of a closet. I primarily make buttercream cakes, but always appreciate new challenges.

The goal of Chelsweets is to share my recipes, techniques and ideas, and show that anyone can bake. I work full-time in finance, and have slowly taught myself how to bake over the past few years. I’ve learned through trial and error, and believe that where there’s a will, there’s a way!
