Jeppe Kil Andersen is the Executive Chef of MeyersUSA, responsible for Agern, the Great Northern Food Hall and the Great Northern Market brands. Jeppe joined MeyersUSA in 2016 and has led as the Executive Chef since early 2019. His cuisine is focused on the locally sourced ingredients of New York, exposed to time-honored techniques and flavors rooted in Nordic Cuisine.
A native of Vojens, Denmark, he was introduced to healthy foods at a young age through tending the garden with his grandparents, cultivating a love of fresh produce and a connection to the land. He began working in kitchens at the age of 13, peeling potatoes and carrots for a neighborhood restaurant.
Prior to joining MeyersUSA, Jeppe spent many years honing his skills throughout Scandinavia under the tutelage of Mathias Dahlgren at Matsalen, Matbaren, Matbordet and Green Rabbit.
