1 1/2 ounces light rum

1/2 ounce Honey Syrup, recipe follows

1/2 ounce lime juice 

4 ounces Champagne

Lime wheel, for garnish

Honey Syrup:

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup warm water


  1. Shake the rum, Honey Syrup and lime juice together with ice and strain into a Champagne coupe. Top with the Champagne and garnish with a lime wheel.

Honey Syrup:

  1. Mix the honey and water together in a small bowl. Let cool.
