Guy Fieri welcomes four chefs who are thankful for their previous GGG wins back to compete in the toughest Thanksgiving competition ever: making both a Thanksgiving hors d'oeuvre and dinner in just one hour. First, each chef must serve up a family favorite hors d'oeuvre. Then, the competitors spin a wheel to determine what ingredient they'll have to incorporate into their Thanksgiving dinner. The winning chef will end up stuffing their wallet with up to $20,000.
This trip, Guy's pulling in for some big flavor. In New Orleans, a corner restaurant and bar where the local seafood sandwich is so large they call it The Barge. In Carmel, Ind., a joint serving Jersey cheese steaks topped 33 different ways. And in Bridgeport, Conn., Triple D fans show us their favorite spot for burgers, dogs and seafood.
Melissa d'Arabian dresses up a wallet-friendly classic without breaking her budget. Her tender Meatloaf gets an extra flavor boost from her Mustard and Sour Cream Gravy. On the side, Twice-Baked Mashed Potatoes are brimming with green onions and cheddar cheese, and her Braised Collard Greens are tender and flavored with bacon, garlic, and lemon zest. Comfort never tasted this good!
