You’ll Probably Be the Coolest Person at Friendsgiving If You Bring This Pie
Run, don’t walk, to your local Taco Bell.

Ever since Taco Bell debuted the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie at its first Live Más Live event in 2024, people have been clamoring for its release. After all, that pie, which I had the opportunity to try at that new-menu-item-blowout event, was arrestingly green — not to mention very sweet. At the time, I called it otherworldly — sort of like an alien key lime pie.
Following what the brand describes as a “cameo” appearance of the signature-beverage-inspired cream pie during last year’s 20th Bajaversary celebrations, Taco Bell promised to release it nationwide by the end of 2025. Now, the chain is making good on that promise — timing the launch of Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie to pie season.
More specifically, Taco Bell is dropping the dessert just in time for it to grace Friendsgiving tables, promising that the unusual pie is made for a holiday in which “creativity is encouraged, traditions get tossed and the most surprising dish takes the spotlight.”
The eerily green pie arrives whole on November 6 and will be available only for a limited time.

What is Taco Bell’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie?
It’s a limited-edition, creamy, key-lime-style pie in which the filling centers the tropical lime flavor of Taco Bell’s signature Baja Blast beverage. It also features a graham-cracker-crumb crust and a whipped cream topping, making it, Taco Bell says, “a one-of-a-kind Friendsgiving showstopper.”
The Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie is “more than your everyday dessert. It’s a statement in a sea of stuffing,” the brand boasts.
Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global chief food innovation officer, describes the Baja Blast Pie as a “creamy, citrusy dessert that feels both classic yet completely new.”
“It’s a fun reminder that flavor has no limits,” Matthews adds in a press release, “especially when it starts with something as beloved as Baja Blast.”
How can you buy a Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie?
The Baja Blast Pie, which will be sold whole, will be available nationwide in-store only for $19.99 starting November 6 — and only for a limited time. If you want one, you shouldn’t sleep on the dessert Taco Bell is positioning as a “Friendsgiving flex.”
“As one of Taco Bell’s most exclusive product launches to date, fans will need to act quickly to get the whole pie before it’s gone,” the brand warns.

And if you can’t get your hands on Taco Bell’s Baja Blast Pie?
Taco Bell is also releasing a Baja Blast Pie Chiller beverage. The seasonal drink will be available starting November 6 for a limited time only at select Live Más Cafés in Southern California and Texas.
The Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie Chiller is a “sweet and creamy frozen blended beverage” featuring “real pieces of the iconic Baja Blast Pie blended with a vanilla ice cream base, topped with whipped cream and churro crunch.”
A 16-ounce small beverage is priced at $4.19; a 20-ounce medium is $4.59.
