This sangria gets its smokiness from the jalapeño and the sweetness comes from grapefruit and orange liqueur. Serve this deliciously flavored sangria and get ready to hear rave reviews from your guests.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat your grill to high.
  2. Cut 2 of the grapefruits in half and cut the remaining grapefruit into 12 wedges. Place the grapefruits onto the grill, cut side down, along with the jalapeño. Grill until lightly charred, turning occasionally, 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board. Slice the jalapeño into thick slices and set it and the grapefruit aside to cool.
  3. Place 2 cup of ice cubes into a large pitcher. Juice the grapefruit halves and pour the juice over the ice. Add the rum and orange liquor, then the Moscato and sparkling water. Stir to combine. Stir in the grapefruit wedges and jalapeño slices as well as a handful of fresh herbs and serve.
