Even people who love to cook could use a night off from dinner planning and prep every once in a while. Chick-fil-A is aiming to give its customers an easy solution for those OMG, I have no meal plan for tonight moments.

The chain has announced that, starting Monday, May 4, it will offer Chicken Parmesan Meal Kits at participating restaurant locations nationwide. The DIY kits include ready-to-cook ingredients packaged in pre-measured amounts and recipes featuring easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions promising to help you get a tasty, home-cooked meal on the table in under a half-hour.

Each kit, priced at $14.99 and up, serves two adults and includes two Original Chick-fil-A Chicken seasoned, breaded, pressure-cooked filets, marinara sauce, “Italian-style” cheeses and creamy garlic and lemon pasta. If you prefer, you can swap in Grilled or Spicy filets for Original Chicken filets. The kits are available at participating Chick-fil-A drive-thru windows or via the Chick-fil-A app. You can also get the meal kits delivered to your door via DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub.

“Our guests are currently experiencing unique challenges, which is why we’re proud to offer the Chicken Parmesan Meal Kit as an easy way for them to enjoy a delicious meal from the safety and comfort of home,” Ben Bolling, menu and packaging program lead at Chick-fil-A, said in a news release.

While new to most of the country, the meal kits originally tested in Atlanta in 2018, apparently to great success, prompting this broader rollout.

“After receiving such a positive response about our Chicken Parmesan Meal Kit during our 2018 test, we’re thrilled to offer it with great enhancements at participating restaurants nationwide during a time when our guests need convenient mealtime options,” Stuart Tracy, senior culinary lead at Chick-fil-A, said in the release. “The goal is to deliver the joy of cooking without added stress, and the recipe is simple enough that even the kids can help!”
