Better late than never! Amazon's biggest sale event of the year finally has a start date. Prime Day 2020 will span October 13 and 14, and over the two-day sale, you'll be able to shop top kitchen brands at super-low prices. If you're trying to plan your sale strategy, we're here to help. Here's how we're shopping Prime Day sales this year.

First, Get a Prime Membership

If you didn't sign up for Amazon Prime shipping at the very start of quarantine, now's the time to do so. You'll only be able to take advantage of Prime Day prices as a Prime Member. It costs $119 for a year.

Start With Big Ticket Items

Best-sellers and larger appliances tend to sell out first on Prime Day. So, if you've had your eye on the Instant Vortex air fryer for months now, or have been dying to buy a KitchenAid stand mixer for less, start with those products first. Add them to your cart and buy immediately. They may not be there when you're ready to shop a couple of hours later.

Check Out Our Must-Buy Lists

We love shopping — and writing about it — so when you're feeling overwhelmed by the thousands of products on sale for Prime Day, we're here to help. Starting the morning of October 13, we'll be putting together lists of the best sale prices for top products we swear by. If you're not sure where to start, these picks are a way to narrow your Prime Day shopping strategy with ease.

Bust Out Your Holiday Shopping List

We know, it's not even Halloween, but this is a great opportunity to start holiday shopping a little early. Get ahead of the game with gifts for the whole family. Come December, you'll be happy you stocked your basement with gifts before holiday shipping madness.

Some Products We Have Our Eyes On

These are some of our favorite kitchen items available on Amazon, and we'll be watching them to see if they go on sale for Prime Day. Check back with us October 13 to find out what products are officially on sale for Prime Day this year.
