James Briscione is a two-time Chopped champion and was named one of People Magazine's Sexiest Chefs Alive in 2016. He is the author of four books, including the best-selling cookbook The Flavor Matrix (HMH '18), which he co-authored with his wife, Brooke Parkhurst.
James and Brooke will soon open their first restaurant inspired by their home on the Gulf Coast and their travels through Italy. Angelena's Ristorante Italiano, featuring handmade pastas, pizzas, gelato and fresh Gulf seafood, is set to open in late 2018 in Pensacola, Florida.
