McDonald’s Shamrock Shakes Return February 21
’Tis the season for something minty green fresh.

There are certain beverages that are forever associated with the season we most enjoy them. Fall will always make us crave Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte and once we get to spring, we’re all about headed to McDonald’s for a Shamrock Shake.
In recent years, the minty-green Shamrock Shake was joined by the OREO Shamrock McFlurry, for even more seasonal excitement. Both will be available nationwide, beginning on February 21, for a limited time.
Things are going to get a bit more technical this year, though, as McDonald's has revealed the exact color for that minty-green we can’t get enough of. The hex code, #cbf2ac, will be the key to unlocking a mystery. As for what that mystery is and how to use that code to unlock it, time will tell!
But, for those of us just in it for the tasty seasonal drinks, the Shamrock Shake is vanilla soft serve, blended with Shamrock Shake flavor and topped with whipped cream, while the OREO Shamrock McFlurry is a mix of vanilla soft serve with Shamrock Shake flavor and OREO cookie pieces. This menu item first appeared in 2020, and it was so popular, it has made a return.
We don’t know what the surprise will be, but if it’s that these shakes will stick around a bit longer, we’re absolutely here for it.
