Can You Soon Get Your Cheez-Its With ‘Even More Cheesiness’?
Extra Cheesy Cheez-Its are said to be headed our way.
So many kinds of Cheez-Its, so little time: You can have your Cheez-Its in their Original form, White Cheddar Cheez-Its, Pepper Jack Cheez-Its, Cheddar Jack Cheez-Its, Whole Grain Cheez-Its, Italian Four Cheese Cheez-Its, Cheese Pizza Cheese-Its, Hot & Spicy Cheez-Its – even Cheez-Its shaped like Scrabble Junior pieces, with letters on them.
And that’s not even all the Cheez-It varieties. There are more. Yes, more. For instance, not so long ago, apparently in response to popular demand, Kellogg’s introduced Extra Toasty Cheez-Its, which I guess are like regular Cheez-Its, only toastier.
Extra Cheesy Cheez-Its, however, were not a thing you could get … until now. Junk-food-focused Instagrammer@CandyHunting spotted the new flavor of the classic baked snack crackers at the NACS (National Association of Convenience Stores) trade show, held in Atlanta last week, sharing a photo of it on its feed a few days ago.
“With the success of Extra Toasty Cheez-Its, Kellogg's is introducing new Extra Cheesy Cheez-Its this December!” @CandyHunting noted, alongside a “Grab n’ Go” snack bag boasting Cheez-Its with “Even More Cheesiness.” Even … more.
Kellogg’s has reportedly yet to confirm the news or make a formal announcement. And @CandyHunting’s post was met with a mixed response.
“I don't know how this is possible but I'm excited to find out,” wrote one commenter.
“Anything cheezits wants me to try I will try,” gushes another.
And then there were, as there always are, the skeptics.
“Wrong,” declared one.
“Just get the cheddar jack! Those are exxxxxxxtra cheesy,” advised another.
Yeah, but if the bag doesn’t say “extra cheesy,” is it really extra cheesy? Kind of a junk food Zen Koan...
