The Secret Sauce
Our test kitchen chefs made a big batch of Guy's signature Donkey Sauce and turned it into three fun appetizers.

Years ago, Guy developed a sauce for a burger and told a fellow chef that you have to really slather it on "or else you're a jacka**." And that's how the name Donkey Sauce came to be! It's Guy's go-to condiment: He starts with mayo, then ramps up the umami, mixing in roasted garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Serve it with burgers and dogs at your next cookout or try it in the following apps.

Spicy salmon or tuna rolls are often made with Japanese mayonnaise. This sushi-inspired appetizer calls for Donkey Sauce instead.

Donkey Sauce does double duty in this app: It's used as a binder for the crab cakes and as a dipping sauce.

Donkey Sauce makes these potato skins extra garlicky and creamy, just like skordalia, the beloved Greek potato dip.
