4 cups milk

2 cups water

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups instant polenta

1/4 cup grated Parmesan

3 tablespoons butter


  1. Bring milk and water to boiling in large saucepan over high heat. Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper. Gradually stir in polenta; cook, stirring the mixture constantly, for 3 to 5 minutes or until polenta thickens and pulls away from sides of saucepan. Stir in Parmesan and butter. Remove from heat and serve.;
