McDonald’s has cranked out yet another celebrity meal. This time, the Golden Arches joined forces with Saweetie, a successful rapper who also loves to share videos of herself whipping up a variety of tasty dishes on social media.
The “Icy Girl” singer’s meal was announced last month, and it is slated to arrive at McDonald’s outposts across the country on August 9 for a limited time. The Saweetie Meal, as it has been dubbed, includes a Big Mac, a 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, a medium order of French fries, a medium Sprite, Tangy BBQ Sauce and “Saweetie ‘N Sour” sauce. However, despite the clever name change, the “Saweetie ‘N Sour” sauce is the same Sweet ‘N Sour sauce you know and love that’s simply been re-named in honor of this meal.

What’s more? Saweetie’s meal will be served in “icy new packaging” modeled after the musician’s own style.
“McDonald’s and I run deep – from growing up back in Hayward, California, all through my college days – so I had to bring my icy gang in on my all-time favorites,” Saweetie said in a statement. “Depending on the mood I’m in, there are so many ways to enjoy my order.”
While McDonald’s has released other celebrity meals in recent months, including culinary collaborations with BTS and Travis Scott, the Saweetie Meal stands out thanks to its namesake’s history with food, which includes some awesome cooking and cocktail demos and various mukbangs. Oh, and who can forget the time she went viral for slathering ranch dressing on a plate of spaghetti?
Recently, the “My Type” songstress has flexed her culinary muscles even more. In May, she published a set of recipes for creative dishes such as that aforementioned Hidden Valley Pasta and Ramen With Flamin’ Hot Cheeto Croutons.

Given Saweetie’s appreciation for food, it’s no surprise that McDonald’s released several ways to “remix” the meal, all inspired by the California native herself. For example, why eat a hamburger with a bun on either end when you can move one half of the bun to the middle and top the whole thing with some crispy French fries? In fact, why have a bun at all when you can craft a totally different type of sandwich with a hamburger patty on either side and fries (with plenty of ketchup!) in the middle?!
Will you be giving the Saweetie Meal a try?
