Food Network host Guy Fieri is the proud father of three children: two biological children, Hunter and Ryder, and his nephew, Jules Fieri, who was adopted into the family after Jules' mother, Guy's sister, passed away. All About Hunter Fieri

Hunter is the eldest son of Food Network chef, restaurateur and TV personality Guy and his wife, Lori. Born on August 13, 1996, in Santa Rosa, California, Hunter’s zodiac sign is Leo.

Hunter attended Sonoma Academy, a private preparatory high school in Santa Rosa. While there, he and a friend opened Kulinary Gangstas, a mobile pizza business, and ran it for two years.

After graduating, Hunter traveled with his father to 13 cities in seven European countries for Guy & Hunter's European Vacation. He also enrolled at the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Guy’s alma mater. He interned with Caesar’s Entertainment, a company that manages restaurants and other businesses. Chef Gordon Ramsay invited Hunter to train with him in London, but there was an issue with Hunter’s study abroad credits. Nevertheless, Guy was proud that Ramsay’s offer was based on Hunter’s merits, not because the two chefs knew each other. “I don’t call any buddies for favors,” Guy told Delish in an interview, adding that Hunter wouldn't want that anyway.

In 2022, Hunter told People.com about his first solo project, a 12-minute documentary he produced and starred in. Called "What Plants Can Do," it was made in partnership with ZENB, a plant-based pasta brand. While stepping out on his own made him nervous, Hunter credited his dad and other mentors for teaching him what he needed to know. As of 2025, Hunter was working toward an MBA at the University of Miami. He also serves as a brand ambassador for the family's wine label, Hunt & Ryde.

Hunter met his fiancée, Tara Bernstein, at the 2022 Super Bowl in Arizona. Tara, a content creator and professional pickleball player, was there on behalf of Franklin Sports, while Hunter was co-hosting Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate. Tara asked someone to videotape her; it happened to be Hunter. Later, they ran into each other again and exchanged numbers. They're now engaged and plan to marry in June 2025 on the family ranch, with Hunter teasing the wedding "may be Stagecoach 2.0," referring to the popular country music festival. Hunter told People he'd asked his father to officiate, but that hasn't been firmed up.

Hunter has appeared on or co-hosted many Food Network shows and specials, including Guy's Hawaiian Eats, Guy’s All-American Road Trip, Guy's Ultimate Family Cruise, Tournament of Champions and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Guy’s Grocery Games

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Guy's Grocery Games, or GGG, became known as Triple G: Delivery. Instead of going into a studio kitchen, ingredients were delivered to chefs and cooks to prepare at home or in other locations. Hunter co-hosted the 25th and 26th seasons.

Guy said he hopes Hunter will eventually take over hosting Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, but he has told his sons that each of them must earn two degrees before they can inherit his empire. “It’s gonna happen,” Guy told People.com in 2025, admitting he already wanted to bring Hunter onto the show, “but I know what’s going to be best for him.”

While Guy is known as the Mayor of Flavortown, Hunter is called the Prince of Flavortown, and he's working toward the goal of hosting his own show. He told People, “I’m excited that the ball is rolling and it’s getting bigger."

All About Ryder Fieri

Ryder is Guy and Lori's second son. Born in Santa Rosa, California, on December 31, 2005, his zodiac sign is Capricorn. He attended Windsor High School, just north of Santa Rosa, where he played basketball for his first four years and joined the lacrosse team in his senior year. In April 2024, he was named a finalist for a youth service award and received a medal. He graduated with a 3.7 GPA that June.

Guy proudly shared the news that Ryder was accepted on his own merits by all the schools he applied to. He chose to enroll at San Diego State University and live in a dorm while studying hospitality.

Hunter and Ryder often help their dad with charitable work for the Guy Fieri Foundation. In May 2023, the trio made lunches for about 575 athletes and students at Special Olympics Northern California. “[Ryder] is always there to support the Guy Fieri Foundation,” Guy posted on Facebook, praising his compassion and support for people like first responders, members of the military and organizations like The Salvation Army Santa Rosa Corps and the California Redwood Gospel Mission.

Guy wants his kids to learn the importance of work and become self-sufficient. When Ryder got his driver’s license, Guy gave him his grandparents' old Chrysler minivan to drive to school; it had 259,000 miles on it. When he proved he could be a responsible driver for one year, Guy and Lori pitched in to help Ryder buy Hunter's truck while Hunter bought Guy's.

Ryder took his girlfriend, Sophie Mrad, to high school prom and, as of this writing, they’re still a couple, sharing Instagram posts of themselves together.

The Fieris celebrated Ryder's high school graduation with a trip aboard a Carnival Mardi Gras ship on Guy's Ultimate Family Cruise. In Season 37, Episode 5 of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, filmed in Boise, Idaho, Ryder co-hosted with his father. “He did great!! So funny,” Guy posted on Instagram. Ryder has also appeared on the "Fieri Family Holiday Showdown" episode, Guy's Big Bite, Guy's Family Cruise, Guy & Hunter's European Vacation, Guy's Family Road Trip, Guy's Grocery Games and Guy's All-American Road Trip.

All About Jules Fieri

Guy and Lori are the legal guardians of Guy's nephew, Jules. He joined their family at age 11, after his mother, Morgan, passed away from metastatic melanoma in 2011. Jules was born in Sebastopol, California, on July 26, 1999, under the zodiac sign of Leo.

Jules graduated from California State University, San Marcos in 2022 with the desire to work in the music industry. In an Instagram post, he announced he'd accepted an offer of full-time employment with Spin Artist Agency. He's now working toward a master's degree in entertainment law at Loyola Marymount University, with the goal of becoming a high-level entertainment agent.

Along with Hunter and Ryder, Jules appeared on Guy's Grocery Games in the first episode of Season 29, "Fieri Family Holiday Showdown." On an episode of Guy! Hawaiian Style, Hunter, Guy and Jules let a master tattoo artist give them traditional Polynesian hand-tapped tattoos to symbolize their family connection. Guy proudly told People that his children are not only his best friends but "the three greatest men in my life."
