Stepahie Izard Bio
Stephanie Izard was born in the Chacago suburb of Evanston, Illinois, grew up in Stamford, Connecticutt and earned her culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Scottsdale. She was the first-ever female winner of Bravo's Top Chef and, in 2013, received a James Beard Foundation Award for "Best Chef: Great Lakes" for work at her Chicago restaurant, Girl and the Goat. She has appeared on Food Network's Iron Chef America, 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing and Guy's Grocery Games. In 2017 she appeared on the first season of Iron Chef Gauntlet in which she defeated chefs Bobby Flay, Michael Symon and Masaharu Morimoto to earn the cherished title of Iron Chef.
