Carla Hall Bio
Chef, best-selling author and television personality Carla Hall has been entertaining audiences with her enthusiasm for life and warm personality for years. She was born in Nashville surrounded by Soul Food. After graduating from business school, she worked as a runway model traveling (and eating) her way through Europe. It was then she realized her deep-rooted passion for food could be her career path. Today, she is a trained chef who has worked in several professional restaurant kitchens around the Washington, D.C area. She first won over audiences when she competed on Bravo’s Top Chef and Top Chef: All Stars. Her philosophy: Always cook with love. Currently, she is a judge on several Food Network series including Holiday Baking Championship, Halloween Baking Championship, Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking and more. Carla lives in D.C. with her husband, Matthew Lyons.
