Luck of the Irish

Eight recruits will be asked to re-create one of Anne Burrell and Bobby Flay's favorite meals using nothing but their sense of taste, smell and sight while their teachers secretly watch and judge. Red Team Pride

The recruits suit up in track jackets for the next skill drill, and Anthony has a surprise pasted to his: It reads: "Yes, Chef Anne!" He has come to learn that this is the only acceptable answer in Chef Anne's kitchen.

Go Blue

"I'm hoping this isn't a physical fitness drill. If it is, I'm in big trouble!" says Vinnie. Turns out the jackets are just to emphasize the team aspect of this challenge. They'll be working together to replicate their chef's dish without a recipe.

Dish Detectives

The Red Team attempts to decode Chef Anne's stuffed pork chop with mashed potatoes and carrots by writing out components and ingredients on the chalkboard.

Secret Spectators

The chefs tell their recruits that they're on their own for this challenge, but Anne and Bobby are actually watching every move via hidden cameras. It's a pretty entertaining show, so they break out some popcorn.

Win for the Team

Despite some very salty potatoes, Anne is impressed with her team's collaborative effort and awards them a group win. "We did Chef Anne really proud!" says Kelli.

Melissa Steps Up

Melissa kicked her team into gear and acted as the leader, so Bobby names her the Blue Team MVP. She is thrilled: "Last time I was MVP, I was eight on a tee-ball team!"

St. Paddy's Day Party

This week brings the toughest Main Dish Challenge yet. The recruits are making hors d'oeuvres for guests at a St. Patrick's Day party and they're all intimidated at the thought of producing 35 potato skins. The chefs then double down and tell them they're each also responsible for a second dish — 35 additional pieces.

Lucky Day

Dorothy got called out on her sloppy knife skills in the last challenge, so this time she's meticulous about them. It serves her well: "I like where you went with this," says Chef Anne. "You rocked the house!" Dorothy takes home the Red Team win.

Double Win

Melissa goes two-for-two this week, taking the Blue Team win with her tasty potato skins and lamb hors d'oeuvres. The St. Paddy's party guests also voted her fan favorite. She's on a roll!

Judgment

The more difficult decision is who to send home. Besides Melissa, Bobby is disappointed in the rest of the Blue Team and puts them all on the bottom.

In the Weeds

"I'm trying to multitask as much as I possibly can, but this is just ridiculous," says Anthony. He doesn't end up finishing his two dishes, so Chef Anne has to send him home, but he leaves with his usual smile: "Despite Chef Anne yelling at me all the time, I cannot thank her enough. My wife is going to be amazed when I come home and cook a really good meal."

Homeward Bound

Before Bobby can pick someone to send home, Benjamin makes the decision easy and nominates himself. "I haven't been able to give my best effort because my head just hasn't been in it," he explains. "It's probably best for me to be with my family. I'm looking forward to cooking a real meal that they can enjoy. That means the world to me."
